Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026.
FineAwards.com is operated by Successories, Inc., doing business as Fine Awards ("FineAwards"). This policy explains what FineAwards collects when you visit the site, order from us or contact us, who else receives it, and how you can say no. Questions go to customerservice@fineawards.com or 1-800-343-3166 (Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm ET), or by mail to 6421 Congress Ave, Ste 206, Boca Raton, FL 33487.
When you first visit, a banner asks what you'll allow. Your answer, not the act of browsing, decides which optional cookies and partner tags run. You can change it anytime from "Your Privacy Choices" at the bottom of every page.
What We Collect
Most of what FineAwards holds, you give us: your name, company, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses, the personalization text, logos and artwork you send with an order, your proof approvals, and what you write to us in a quote request, a contact form, an email, a phone call or a live chat. An account adds your password, saved addresses, favorites and order history.
Some information arrives automatically. Every visitor gets our own visitor ID cookie: a random ID your browser keeps for 28 days, even after Reject all. Under that ID our servers record each page and product you view, what you search for, your IP address, your browser and the site that sent you, and FineAwards keeps those visit logs for 1 year. If we know your email address, from an order, an account or a link you clicked in one of our emails, we link those logs to it. We use them to run the site: your favorites, your recently viewed products, and your cart and checkout. We also use them in our own sales and product reports, and to pick products for our marketing emails. Nothing in these visit logs goes to another company. Cookies also remember your cart, your sign-in, your currency and your cookie choices. Other cookies are optional, and the next section covers them. Your cookie choices don't affect these visit logs or the open and click records in our emails.
We also receive information from others: delivery tracking from the carriers that ship your order and the reviews you leave on Trustpilot.
How We Use It
We use your information to make and ship your order, send proofs for your approval, answer your questions, run your account, prevent fraud, fix problems on the site, and send you email about orders and offers. With your consent, we also use it to measure how the site is used and to show you FineAwards ads on other sites.
Cookies and Your Choices
The cookie banner sorts cookies and tags into 5 groups:
- Functional cookies are always on. The cart, checkout, sign-in, security and the memory of your cookie choices don't work without them. They include our own visitor ID cookie, which also feeds our own reports and our marketing emails whatever you choose here.
- Statistics covers site analytics. Our analytics run through our tag manager and Google's tag, which also need Marketing and Sharing, so turning on Statistics alone loads nothing.
- Email covers tags that track visits from our emails, so we can tell which emails are useful. Like Statistics, this choice also goes to our tag manager.
- Marketing covers advertising cookies and our advertising partners' tags.
- Sharing with advertising partners lets us share details such as your email address and the pages you view with those partners, so the ads they show you are relevant.
"Accept all" turns every group on, unless your browser sends a privacy signal (see GPC below). "Reject all" turns off everything except Functional. "Manage Cookies" lets you pick each group, and nothing optional is ticked until you tick it. Your choice is saved in a cookie for 365 days, and then the banner asks again.
Until you choose, what runs depends on where you are. Visitors in the EU, the European Economic Area, the UK, Quebec, and anywhere not listed here get no optional cookies until they accept. In California, nothing optional runs until you accept. In the rest of the US and Canada, all groups are on until you reject them. If we can't tell where you are, you get the stricter default.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, FineAwards treats it as a "no" to Marketing and Sharing, whatever else you click, and the banner tells you so. Your Statistics and Email choices are unaffected.
Reject all, or turning off Marketing and Sharing, stops advertising cookies and our advertising partners' tags from loading on FineAwards in that browser. It doesn't delete cookies a partner set before you changed your mind (your browser settings can clear those), and it doesn't change your customer record. To opt your customer record out (which, while you're signed in, also keeps those tags off in any browser), see Sale and Sharing of Personal Information below.
A choice you made on our older cookie notice doesn't count as consent. You'll see the new banner once, and if you'd said no before, that no stays in force until you answer.
Who Receives Your Information
Anything your browser loads from another company also gives that company your IP address and browser details. The table lists every company that runs code on FineAwards pages or receives your information from us, what it gets, and how to stop it.
| Vendor | What it receives | Purpose | What controls it | Sold or shared | How to opt out |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager and the tags it loads | The pages you view and what you do on them, such as the products you view and add to your cart, your checkout steps and the forms you send, and on the order confirmation your order details. Your Statistics and Email choices are passed to it too. | Measures how the site is used and runs our advertising tags. | Your cookie choices (Marketing and Sharing) | Shared | Reject all, Manage Cookies (Marketing or Sharing off), a GPC signal, or, while you're signed in, the "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings |
| Google Ads | The pages you view, your IP address and browser, and on the order confirmation your order number, merchandise total and currency, and with Statistics on, the products in your order. | Measures our Google ads and shows you FineAwards ads. | Your cookie choices (Marketing and Sharing) | Shared | Reject all, Manage Cookies (Marketing or Sharing off), a GPC signal, or, while you're signed in, the "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings |
| Google Ads (customer list) | Customers' email addresses, phone numbers, names, countries and ZIP codes, from our customer files. We upload the list to Google Ads by hand, from time to time. Customers who ticked the "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings are left out. | Shows our ads to people who have bought from us, or leaves them out of ads. | The "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings, not your cookie choices (we send this ourselves, not through your browser) | Shared | The "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings, a GPC signal while you're signed in, or contact us. |
| Criteo | The products you view and add to your cart, and on the order confirmation what you bought and your order number. Only after you click Accept all, or save Marketing and Sharing as on: your customer ID and your email address as a one-way SHA-256 hash, never the email itself. | Shows you FineAwards ads on other sites. | Your cookie choices (Marketing and Sharing) | Shared | Reject all, Manage Cookies (Marketing or Sharing off), a GPC signal, or, while you're signed in, the "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings |
| MeritDirect, MeritBase (part of Anteriad) and Dovetail | Once a month, from our servers: our customer and prospect files (names, companies, postal and email addresses, phone numbers, and for customers their order history and product interests), and our catalog unsubscribe list. The prospect files also include the names, companies and postal addresses of people we shipped an order to who haven't ordered from us themselves. Customers who ticked the "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings are marked so they're kept out of the cooperatives' shared lists and used only for our own mailings. | Mail our catalogs for us, and pool our customer lists with other companies' lists for co-op mailings and prospect modeling, so catalogs reach people likely to be interested. If we shipped an order to you but you have no account with us, contact us to be left out. |
| LiveChat | Nothing until you click Chat now or the chat icon. Then: what you type, a recording of the chat, your email address if we have it in a cookie, and private links our staff use to look up your account, cart or checkout. | Runs our live chat. | Your click (nothing loads until you click) | No | Don't start a chat; nothing loads until you click. |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Your IP address, browser and how you use the page, on some of our pages, such as our forms. | Checks that a person, not a bot, is using the form. | Always on (needed for the site to work) | No | Not needed: required for the site to work. |
| Google Maps Places | What you type in an address field, such as at checkout or in your account's address book, and your IP address. | Suggests addresses as you type. | Always on (needed for the site to work) | No | Not needed: required for the site to work. |
| Google Fonts | Your IP address, when your browser fetches a font. | Supplies some of the fonts on our pages. | Always on (needed for the site to work) | No | Not needed: required for the site to work. |
| ipapi.co | Your IP address, when the site needs your location and doesn't already have it. | Shows the notices that apply where you are. | Always on (needed for the site to work) | No | Not needed: required for the site to work. |
| Trustpilot | On our pages, nothing beyond what any page load sends. After you order, we send it your name, email address, order number and the products you bought, and it gives us a review link that we email to you. | Shows our customer reviews and collects new ones. | Always on (it loads with the page) | No | After an order, we may email you a link to review it. The unsubscribe link in that email stops review requests. |
| YouTube | Nothing until you press play. Then: your IP address and browser. Videos load from youtube-nocookie.com, Google's privacy-enhanced mode. | Plays some of our videos. | Your click (nothing loads until you click) | No | Don't press play. |
| Fortis | Your card details, entered into a payment form Fortis supplies at checkout, your billing address (to check it against the card) and your order total. FineAwards doesn't store full card numbers. | Processes card payments. | Always on (needed for the site to work) | No | Not needed: required for the site to work. |
| Sentry | A report when our site code breaks. From your browser: the error, the page and your browser type, with personal details turned off. From our servers: the error, the full page address and, if you're signed in, your account number. | Finds and fixes errors on the site. | Always on (needed for the site to work) | No | Not needed: required for the site to work. |
| Yottaa and Fastly | Every request to the site: your IP address and the pages you request. Fastly also works out your country and region from your IP address for us. | Deliver and speed up our pages. | Always on (it works for us as our service provider) | No | Not offered: it works only for us, as our service provider. |
| Amazon Web Services and Amazon SES | Everything the site holds, as our host, and the emails we send you. | Host the site and our databases, and send our emails. | Always on (it works for us as our service provider) | No | Not offered: it works only for us, as our service provider. |
| NetSuite (through Celigo) | Each order and each request you send us. | Our order and accounting system. | Always on (it works for us as our service provider) | No | Not offered: it works only for us, as our service provider. |
| UPS, FedEx and USPS | Your shipping address and the tracking numbers for your order. | Ship your order and send back tracking updates. | Always on (it works for us as our service provider) | No | Not offered: it works only for us, as our service provider. |
Once you accept, our advertising partners' code runs on pages that also hold your email address (in a cookie we set and on the order confirmation). That means the partners can technically read it, even where our own code doesn't hand it to them.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
FineAwards shares personal information by letting advertising partners collect information through their tags on our pages, and by sending customer lists from our servers to Google Ads and the data cooperatives named in the table. We don't sell personal information for money. Some state laws still count this sharing as a "sale" or "sharing", so we treat it that way, and you can opt out as described below.
The partner tags follow your cookie choices: Reject all, turning off Marketing and Sharing in Manage Cookies, or a GPC signal. That choice lives in your browser, so it covers that browser on FineAwards.
Your customer record follows your account setting, which covers the information from your account and the orders you place. Tick the "Do not sell my information to third parties I might be interested in" setting in account settings, or contact us and we'll tick it for you. If you're signed in when your browser sends a GPC signal, we tick it for you automatically. With that setting ticked, our advertising partners' tags stay off whenever you're signed in. The Google Ads customer list leaves you out. The customer files we send to data cooperatives mark you, so you're kept out of their shared lists and used only for our own mailings.
We may mail you catalogs and offers. We also take part in the data cooperatives named in the table, which pool member companies' customer lists to find new people likely to be interested in what we sell. When you place an order, we may send you our catalogs and marketing emails. You can stop them at any time as described in this policy.
FineAwards doesn't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Email from Us
If you order, create an account or sign up, we send order and proof emails, and marketing emails such as new products and offers. If you've added items to your cart and left, we may email you a reminder. If you're subscribed to our marketing emails, they may feature products you looked at, or best sellers from categories you browsed. Our emails record when they're opened and which links are clicked. You can stop marketing emails from the link in any of them or from your subscription preferences. Order and proof emails keep coming while you have an open order.
After an order, we may email you a link to review it. The unsubscribe link in that email stops review requests.
Your Records of Consent
Each time you click Accept all, Reject all or save your choices, and when a GPC signal opts you out, FineAwards records the choice. The record holds a random ID stored in your consent cookie, the version of the banner you saw, your choices, whether GPC was on, the page and your region. It holds your IP address cut to its network (the last part removed), and your account number only if you were signed in. It holds no name or email address. We keep these records as long as we need them to show what you chose.
Your Rights
You can see and update most of your information in your account. If you contact us, you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or opt out of its sale or sharing. We'll check that the request comes from you before we act on it, and we won't treat you differently for making one. We'll confirm we've received your request within 10 business days and answer it within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why and take no more than 45 more days.
To delete your account yourself, use "Delete Account" in your account settings. About a week after you ask, FineAwards deletes your account and the personal information stored with it on this website. That can't be undone. Your orders are also kept in our accounting system, and the personal information on them is anonymized within 1 week.
How Long We Keep It
- Our visitor ID cookie: 28 days in your browser.
- Visit logs: 1 year.
- Raw web server logs: as long as we need them for security and to fix problems.
- Consent records: as long as we need them to show what you chose.
- Your account and its saved details: until you delete the account.
- Orders and other transaction records, in our accounting system and elsewhere: kept indefinitely, and the personal information on them is anonymized within 1 week after you ask us to delete your account.
- Live chat transcripts kept by LiveChat: until you ask us to delete them.
- Error reports kept by Sentry: 30 days.
Security
FineAwards uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) on every page. Email isn't encrypted, so please don't send card numbers by email. We confirm orders with only the last 4 digits of your card.
Children
FineAwards sells to adults. If you're under 18, use the site with a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
