Florida Medical Center Recognizing Its Frontline Heroes with custom awards donated by FineAwards.com

Tenet Healthcare and FineAwards.com continue to recognize South Florida’s COVID-19 units for exceptional service on September 10, 2020. The custom awards ceremony will be held at Florida Medical Center, honoring both FMC (Florida Medical Center) and EMS (emergency medical service) units.

COVID-19 units have been doing an outstanding job in recent months to help combat this pandemic. The medical units that will be recognized at this event will be:

· ED (Emergency Department)

· Neuro

· MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit)

· NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

· MED TELE

· Cardiac Monitoring

Having been on the front lines since the pandemic started to spread throughout Florida in March 2020, this situation would be a lot worse without their dedication. Due to tireless effort against this virus, the number of newly infected people have dropped significantly in July and August.

Various emergency fire departments of Broward County will also be honored at this event. These department’s first responders assist by being available whenever an emergency occurs. The fire departments add their commitment by providing a valuable service that makes each situation a little easier to manage.
