Technology continues to be an integral part of our daily lives, and because of this, more individuals who show particular savvy in the field are receiving recognition awards for their work.
Tech Collective and GoLocalProv.com announced the recipients of this year’s 2011 Tech10 recognition award recipients, which honors individuals in the information technology (IT) industry based in Providence, Rhode Island.
“As technology continues to grow as a prominent industry in Rhode Island and across the nation, it is critical to identify and nurture our industry strengths and talents,” said Kathie Shields, executive director of Tech Collective. “Talent, such as that exhibited by this year’s Tech10 award recipients, will be one of the key factors in attracting technology companies to Rhode Island and fostering overall industry success.”
This year’s winners included Andres Douglas, the founder of Bakodo; Grant Fritchey, the principal development database administrator for FM Global; Heather Hartman, the director of IS technical services at Care New England Health System; Hamzah Ansari, the founder of Accelereach; Christian Smith, the lead server specialist at FM Global and Cheryl Lawrence, the director of IT at Home Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
