Companies that provide high service to their customers are often gifted with recognition awards because they go above and beyond in ensuring that their consumers have the resources they need.
Sykes Enterprises Incorporated, which provides customer contact management solutions for the business process outsourcing (BPO) field, recently received a Recognized Innovator Award from the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA). The prize was presented during the Technology Services World conference, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sykes won the recognition award in the Innovation in Service Economics category for its latest project, Online Support Communities.
The company won the award because it was able to demonstrate how its services are being used by other companies to generate more revenue in order to make a profit.
"Sykes has clearly demonstrated that it understands the value of service economics and can strategically partner with technology service organizations to provide them with innovative tools that help run a profitable and highly performing services business," said John Ragsdale, vice president of technology research for TSIA.
