It was recently announced that MotiveQuest has received one of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association's (WOMMA) Gold Awards, which is given to the best companies who exemplify what word-of-mouth marketing over the past year. They received their award at the annual WOMMA Summit in Las Vegas.
The Illinois-based Motive Quest was given this honor based on their Sprint campaign, which used reverse customer defections by showcasing the services that were the most important to a loyal customer of the wireless carrier. Because of their campaign, Sprint received a boost in people signing up for their services.
"Most marketers have been puzzled about effective ways to measure results in the new world of social media," said MotiveQuest CEO David Rabjohns. "We are very grateful for WOMMA's recognition of our methodology, which largely rejects dashboards and other shallow measurements in favor of deeper framework based analysis of conversations that allows us to understand and drive online advocacy."
These recognition awards have been in place since 2004, and this year they honored four other companies with the Gold Award.
