In a few days 2012 will be out and 2013 will be in. When it comes to business, many bosses are running around this time of year tying up any loose ends and finishing up paperwork. Even though it may soon be the start of a new fiscal year, it is still important to show gratitude to workers who have done a lot to make 2012 successful for your company.
A great way to say “thank you” to certain employees who have continued to go above and beyond the entire year, is by taking them out for a fancy dinner. Not only will they get to enjoy some fine dining on you, but they may also relish in getting the recognition they deserve.
Dinners are nice, but something more concrete may be even better. Giving out customized glass awards to the top tier employees right before the New Year may be a great idea. This way, the recipients can proudly display their accomplishments on their desk for years to come. Make the event even more special by sending out a company-wide email that lists the recipients and why each person was gifted with such an honorable award.
