FineAwards.com’s awards ceremony was held at the famed Fire Station 5 in Hollywood, Florida

Hollywood Beach, Florida – On Nov. 12, Local business, FineAwards.com, presented the seven fire departments of Hollywood Beach with crystal plaque awards for their extraordinary service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This ceremony of gratitude is one of many that have been held by FineAwards.com and their associates in the health and service industry. They created “Heroes of COVID-19” as a recognition program for the COVID units and emergency services of South Florida who have worked together to keep people safe during the current pandemic.

Held at Hollywood Beach’s Fire Station 5, or more famously known as the ‘House of Pain,’ the plaques awards were handed out to the servicemen and women. Seth Fine, CEO and designer of FineAwards.com, was in attendance to help distribute awards to their recipients.

During the early summer months of 2020, Florida saw alarming spikes in daily COVID infections. In addition to this, Florida hospital staff were operating at full capacity to the point of exhaustion. In response, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis contracted more than 2,000 out-of-state nurses to replenish hospital staff.

With the combined efforts of COVID units and local fire departments, the number of COVID infections in the late summer and autumn months was reduced significantly.

Fire fighters are presented crystal plaque awards

The Heroes of COVID-19 recognition program was conceived by FineAwards.com to reward the COVID units of hospitals under Tenant Healthcare, a healthcare company. This program initially started as an award program for exemplary individuals within COVID units, but it was changed to a more inclusive program.

These are the type of recognition programs that FineAwards.com thrives on. They have been making recognition plaque awards for 20 years, and they’re proud to design these awards for the servicemen and women of Broward and Miami-Dade County.
