There are more than 70 million baby boomers who are starting to reach retirement age, and with that comes a lot of difference choices. Those who are looking for a retirement services company may want to look into John Hancock Retirement Plan Services, which recently received 14 awards from the Insurance and Financial Communications Association (IFCA).

"We are honored to have received this recognition from IFCA. While we have long been recognized as leaders in participant communications, we are particularly gratified that many of these awards recognize materials we've developed for financial representatives and plan sponsors," said Andrew Ross, senior vice president of marketing at the company.

Some of the honors that they received included three "Best in Show" recognition awards for PRIME interactive, building your 401(k) package and JH StartSmart. There was also a series of excellence awards that they were honored with.
