It was recently announced that the nominations for this year's CMA Awards will be released on September 6. The Band Perry and Jake Owen will be announcing these names on "Good Morning America" for the first five categories. Then it will move to Jerrod Neimann and Thompson Square at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to announced the nominees in seven of the categories.
"Having country music's most eagerly-anticipated announcements revealed on both 'Good Morning America' and on the Ryman stage, where the CMA Awards were first held, is a great way to start the morning," said Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer. "We appreciate the support of our partners including ABC, Gaylord Entertainment, CMT, and Premiere Radio Network in presenting the CMA nominations to the public, and we look forward to 'Country Music's Biggest Night' on November 9."
This year will mark the 45th annual recognition awards ceremony, and will be airing live on the ABC network and on the radio nationwide. It will be hosted by country stars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
