It always amazes me when I see the orders that come and go, especially all the different styles and custom awards that we design for our clients. I feel we get to know who our customer really are by the words expressed on their awards making it much more personal and unique. It helps us to appreciate what we do for our customers and makes us feel like we are part of their team helping them recognize important people in the company. We take a very personal and involved approach in every single award we manufacture
Another productive week. We had an order requesting an odd color fill so accommodating this need was a challenge. We were able to find the perfect solution and effectively fulfill their award needs for over 100 pieces. Our satisfaction comes from hearing back from the client after they receive their awards and acknowledging that we exceeding their expectation again. Always a good feeling when we overcome a challenge and our goal is to make ordering awards easy for you. If we can find a way to get you what you want we will do it.
We set the bar high in our industry by starting the QC process as soon as our clients place their order. The production team is watching each piece closely from the moment we apply the mask till it is packed up and ready to ship out. This ensures that our customers will get exactly what they pay for…a prestigious award custom made to order. Our staff handles each order as if it were their very own, vigorously checking every piece, name and logo to confirming that our quality is 110% flawless. It is easy for us because we take great pride in what we do, we strive for excellence and we have fun while we do it.
I have the privilege of working in the “feel good” business. Meaning, we are making awards; honoring employees and companies for their great achievements and accomplishments. FineAwards.com creates beautiful crystal awards and glass awards that are presented to loyal employees or top sales representatives. So customer complaints and challenges are far and few between, but like every customer service department they’re going to happen.
In my 6 years of customer service I’ve found the best solution to upset and frustrated customers are to not solve the problem right away and allow them to talk. The customer’s initial objective is to vent and express their emotion. Always listen to what they have to say. If you interrupt too soon they will not be ready to listen or accept your solution to the problem. Now pause. Take a deep breath and offer alternative solutions. Instead of saying “This is the only thing I can do,” say “Here are two options,” The customer may not be excited with the selections, but at least they get to make the choice. I’ve trained our customer service team to answer the phone with a smile and learn from the challenging calls. It will only make them stronger team members and help FineAwards.com succeed.
We have been hard at work on our search rankings for many years and it has finally paid off. Our website is currently ranking #1 for our top keywords and top 5 for most of the others. We have seen a spike in orders and custom requests which is really what this is all about. We need to put ourselves in a place where our customers are most likely to find us so that we earn the chance to help them take their awards program to the next level. Everyday our team is discussing ways to service you better. For example, our clay mold technique can finally make setups affordable for smaller custom crystal projects that were impossible in the past. Touch base to find out if this could work for your vision.
The main thing that separates FineAwards.com from everyone else besides our customer service is our hunger for the most challenging projects. Anyone can sand etch stock awards even though no one does it better than we do for less. But try to find a company willing to go that extra mile to help you take your award program to the next level. Click on our Custom Awards category and fill out our simple request form. Our team will immediately jump into action and advise options that will fit your specifications. Please put some thought into your answers. Obviously the more flexible your quantity, budget and in hands date can be, the more creative we can be. Here is another example of WOW awards! Wow it seems like years that we have been trying to get this blog going on a consistent basis. Maybe the time has finally come. Our team is stronger than ever and soon you will be hearing more from them about amazing awards we have done, industry tips, reasons to recognize, green solutions for your business and so much more. Here is a special piece we did for the island of St. Marteen. They wanted a replica of their new airport in crystal to award to the visionary behind it and soon to be govenor. We pulled off one unique piece in just a few weeks and reports are that tears were flowing in the office when they presented it. Now that’s what we like to hear! We always encourage our clients to challenge us.

As spring and summer roll in so do the charity fishing tournaments. The bite is picking up so anglers are heading out into the open seas. The FineAwards.com fishing team is ready for a huge season as we participated in the first of 3 events we sponsor. The 3 day Yamaha/Contender Miami Billfish Tournament took place this past weekend. There were categories for heaviest Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna and Kingfish but the pros were in town for the main event, catch and release Sailfish event. Over 600 sailfish were caught off the coast of Miami during the weekend with the lead boats calling in more than 30 sailfish each. While the newly formed FineAwards.com fishing team only had 3 catch and releases it was still good enough for 3rd place in the amateur division. The weather was perfect and there is nothing more exciting than catching your first sailfish. Tradition goes that catching your first means a toss overboard by your team and who are we to ignore tradition.
During these tough economic times it becomes more important than ever to show the employees you can afford to keep how much you appreciate their hardwork and dedication.
