Another productive week. We had an order requesting an odd color fill so accommodating this need was a challenge. We were able to find the perfect solution and effectively fulfill their award needs for over 100 pieces. Wow it seems like years that we have been trying to get this blog going on a consistent basis.  Maybe the time has finally come.  Our team is stronger than ever and soon you will be hearing more from them about amazing awards we have done, industry tips, reasons to recognize, green solutions for your business and so much more.  Here is a special piece we did for the island of St. Marteen.  They wanted a replica of their new airport in crystal to award to the visionary behind it and soon to be govenor.  We pulled off one unique piece in just a few weeks and reports are that tears were flowing in the office when they presented it.  Now that’s what we like to hear!  We always encourage our clients to challenge us.

As spring and summer roll in so do the charity fishing tournaments.  The bite is picking up so anglers are heading out into the open seas.  The FineAwards.com fishing team is ready for a huge season as we participated in the first of 3 events we sponsor.  The 3 day Yamaha/Contender Miami Billfish Tournament took place this past weekend.  There were categories for heaviest Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna and Kingfish but the pros were in town for the main event, catch and release Sailfish event.  Over 600 sailfish were caught off the coast of Miami during the weekend with the lead boats calling in more than 30 sailfish each.  While the newly formed FineAwards.com fishing team only had 3 catch and releases it was still good enough for 3rd place in the amateur division.  The weather was perfect and there is nothing more exciting than catching your first sailfish.  Tradition goes that catching your first means a toss overboard by your team and who are we to ignore tradition.
