In today's society there seems to be less emphasis on people doing a good job at the place of work and more attention on making sure the job simply gets done. Although this rush, rush, rush mentality works for some people, it can also be nice for the boss to take a step back and really look into the work the employees perform.
Taking the time to check out recent figures and facts and seeing who does more work than others within the company can benefit the boss in a variety of ways. First, the manager is able to see in writing exactly how motivated certain employees are. They'll also recognize who the team players are and who goes above and beyond every time to ensure clients are happy.
Once a manager figures out who the shining stars are in the company, why not make it known? A great way to surprise hard-working employees in the office is to gift them with stunning glass awards. Surprise the recipients even further by taking them out to lunch as a special gesture. The honor is sure to encourage the employees to work even harder in the future.
