Cequent Consumer Products, was recently awarded for its efforts to go green. The business created Washdrops, a new hoseless biodegradable car wash and shine solution that helps limit how many harmful chemicals get mixed into the ground during car washes. The new product won the company the first-ever Green Product of the Year Award from nationally syndicated radio program AutoWorld.
Host Bob Long was pleased to dole out the first of many green awards to come and reported he had the product thoroughly tested before giving it the inaugural trophy.
"After extensive testing not only did Washdrops deliver as promised, but it left a wonderful streak-free shine," said Long. "The fact that you don’t have to use a hose to wash your car off after using Washdrops combined with the eco-friendly properties of the product made it an easy decision to recognize Washdrops for our Green Award. Washdrops is a time saver, water saver and budget saver at an average of only 60 cents per wash."
Going green has become more important around the world and honoring businesses with awards for their efforts to change is a smart way to get more companies to jump on the eco-friendly bandwagon.
