FineAwards.com Places 4th as the Crystal Awards and Glass Trophies Sponsor in the One-Day Slam Event at the Yamaha Contender Billfish Tournament

FineAwards.com was proud to participate in the Yamaha Contender Billfish Tournament by donating crystal awards and glass trophies to the one-day slam event. We were also proud to sponsor the FineAwards.com in the Yamaha Contender Billfish Tournament, and even more proud when they placed 4th. Both the crystal awards and glass trophies donations and our team’s impressive showing made for a very satisfactory day.

The FineAwards.com team boarded the Fuzzy Details boat for their day of catch-and-release fishing of sailfish. They were able to successfully then release four sailfish, which put them 4th in that one-day event. Not only that, they placed 3rd in the Calcutta event. So, not only did FineArts.com get the opportunity to donate crystal awards and glass trophies to the event, they also got to share in some minor victories.

These competitions are just part of an annual event that takes place at the Miami Beach Marina. This year, 2010, saw a new category added. The one-day blast provided an opportunity for anglers of all ages, genders, and experience to participate. FineAwards.com was a sponsor and also donated crystal awards and glass trophies to that event.

FineAwards.com is the official sponsor and provides crystal awards and crystal trophies for the Sailfish Pro Series, which consists of professional sail fishing teams who have formed an organized association. We are proud to be affiliated with and supply crystal awards and crystal trophies for such a distinguished organization.

Members of the Sailfish Pro Series compete for a season-long championship, which includes five tournaments and a post-season playoff. At the end of the Series, one team champion is crowned and all place winners receive crystal awards and crystal trophies. The Series receives television, print, and web coverage of the events.

The post-season playoff and championship was held April 30-May 2 in Miami. First-place winners receive a cash prize as well as one of the crystal awards and crystal trophies. Those who place second through fourth place also receive smaller cash prizes, but they also get to take home one of our crystal awards and crystal trophies.

The unique thing about this tournament is that the only fish that is considered in the competition is a sailfish. Participants use the catch-and-release method, and each boat has a videographer who records the catch before the sailfish is returned to the ocean. The crystal awards and crystal trophies are awarded based on the results as captured on videotape.

As spring and summer roll in so do the charity fishing tournaments.  The bite is picking up so anglers are heading out into the open seas.  The FineAwards.com fishing team is ready for a huge season as we participated in the first of 3 events we sponsor.  The 3 day Yamaha/Contender Miami Billfish Tournament took place this past weekend.  There were categories for heaviest Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna and Kingfish but the pros were in town for the main event, catch and release Sailfish event.  Over 600 sailfish were caught off the coast of Miami during the weekend with the lead boats calling in more than 30 sailfish each.  While the newly formed FineAwards.com fishing team only had 3 catch and releases it was still good enough for 3rd place in the amateur division.  The weather was perfect and there is nothing more exciting than catching your first sailfish.  Tradition goes that catching your first means a toss overboard by your team and who are we to ignore tradition.   

During these tough economic times it becomes more important than ever to show the employees you can afford to keep how much you appreciate their hardwork and dedication.  Right now people are in fear of losing their jobs as the unemployment rate increases while both large and small business are close down at an alarming rate.  We have all identified key employees that we hope will stick around until things start improving so make sure to show them how much they mean to you.  When bonuses have dried up and expensive trips are no longer practical, you can still send a strong message by setting aside a smaller budget for a high-perceived value awards that clearly says "Thank You!".
